'Finally made it to Savoy Cabbage last night after many years of intending
to go. Just wish I''d gone sooner. The food was excellent and very
well-presented, but the staff! Absolutely faultless, not just our waiter
but the other girl in the adjoining section - totally impressive in their
product knowledge, their composure, their humour and their
professionalism. I think you would have to go a long way to get a whole
dining experience better than Savoy. Perhaps it''s not the cheapest place
in town, but I think you get what you pay for and last night I paid for -
and got - a perfect evening out.
